Mark Duane "Bud" Daniels, 62, of Carroll, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Saturday, May 25, 2024 with his family at his residence in Carroll.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 3 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca with Pastor Chuck Stanga officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2 with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the church.
To honor and celebrate Bud's life, the family asks guests to wear their Husker gear and denim.
Arrangements are with Meyer Brothers Funeral Home in Sioux City, Iowa.
Bud was born Jan. 11, 1962 in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Dean and Dorothy (Jansen) Daniels. He attended Ponca Schools. Bud married Lisa Pinard on Aug. 12, 2000 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca.
Bud led a fulfilling life dedicated to hard work and generosity. Throughout his career, he worked at C&H, McRoberts Trucking, Les Albrecht Farms for many years, Pick Farms, and Loberg Farms. His dedication and strong work ethic were truly commendable.
Bud found joy in various hobbies such as ice fishing, attending cruise nights, cheering for the Huskers, and spending quality time outdoors – especially when he was 4 wheeling or cruising around in the side by side. His unwavering support for his grandkids at their sporting events showcased his loving nature.
Rest in peace dear Bud; your legacy of love and family will never be forgotten.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Lisa; his children: Amanda (Chris) Faust of Hastings, Aaron (Tracy) Daniels of Wayne and Lana Kutz of Valley; grandchildren - Alexis, Kade, Jayce, Shayne, Gracelynn, Tyler, Hope and Brennen; his sisters: Brenda Eslick of Emerson, Marcia (Ryan) Saegebarth of Pierce, Annette Schnoor of Ponca, Nancy (Trevin) Wimmer of Ponca and Penny (Martin) Benton of Dakota City; sisters-in-law: Carla and Curt Logue of Anthon, Iowa, Jackie and Ron Kurth of Sgt. Bluff, Iowa, and Rikki Pinard of Le Mars, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Dorothy Daniels; parents-in-law, Joe and Marie Pinard and brothers-in-law Kent Eslick, Alan Schnoor and Mike Pinard.
