State Nebraska Bank & Trust has announced the installation of an outdoor mural at its downtown location at 122 Main Street in Wayne.

The mural, painted by artist Adam Boggs, was completed over a span of four days in front of the drive-thru lanes of the downtown bank.

CEO Matt Ley commissioned Boggs to create a mural that reflects the bank’s connection to agriculture and the local community. The mural features iconic buildings in Wayne, such as the Wayne Courthouse, Wayne State College’s Bowen Hall, and the water tower, set against a landscape of agricultural fields.

According to Ley, “We are proud of this addition to public art in the community that celebrates farming and our Wayne community,” commented CEO Matt Ley. “We hope both visitors and residents enjoy this exciting new mural.”

Established in 1892, State Nebraska Bank & Trust is Wayne’s only locally owned bank, operated by the same family for five generations. For more information, visit statenebank.com or call (402) 375-1130.
