The Wayne State College Foundation is accepting nominations for its 10 Under 10 Young Alumni Awards (introduced last year) and the time-honored Outstanding Alumni Awards. The nomination deadline is Monday, July 7.
These honors celebrate alumni who have made meaningful contributions to their professions and communities.
10 Under 10 Young Alumni Awards
Nominees for the 10 Under 10 Young Alumni Award should be within 10 years of their Wayne State graduation; emerging as a leader making significant contributions by living out their calling; engaged in the local or global community through professional and/or volunteer involvement; and outstanding young role models for current and future students and alumni.
Outstanding Alumni Awards
Outstanding Alumni Award nominees should demonstrate exceptional accomplishments in their chosen field; meaningful engagement in their community through professional or volunteer efforts; strong support for the advancement and continued excellence of Wayne State College; and leadership and innovation in their work or service.
Ten alumni will receive 10 Under 10 Young Alumni Awards, and Outstanding Alumni Awards will be presented to one alumni member from each of Wayne State’s four schools – the School of Arts and Humanities, the School of Business and Technology, the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, and the School of Science, Health, and Criminal Justice.
Award recipients will be honored during the Fall 2025 Homecoming celebration, a meaningful moment to spotlight their contributions and lifelong connection to Wayne State.
