Wayne's Kent Pulfer will be taking part in the running of the 129th Boston Marathon on Monday the 21st. Not just anyone can run in the world renowned 26.2 mile run, you have to qualify. Pulfer did exactly that in the 60-64 age group in a qualifying run in Bryan/College Station, Texas. His time was three hours, thirty-five minutes.
The Boston Marathon is a point to point route through several New England towns, starting in Hopkinton and finishing on Boylston Street in Boston. Pulfer's bib number is 21411 with his wave of the marathon starting at 10:50 a.m. Eastern time.
