Wayne’s William Patefield blasted a three-run homerun in a Father’s Day contest with Pender which was literally a smash hit. The ball cleared the fence by a good margin and landed on the windshield of a vehicle, breaking the window. The owner of the vehicle could only muster a grin as the long ball hitter in question was his own son. It was still a happy Father’s Day.
