After two days with no reported confirmed COVID-19 cases, Northeast Nebraska Health Department reported five new cases on May 7 with in the district of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. As of May 7, there have been 338 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District. The results of these tests include 31 positive cases (Cedar - 5, Dixon - 15, Thurston - 9, and Wayne County - 2), 268 negatives, and 39 tests currently pending results.
