She grew up in the immigrant community of Leetonia, Minnesota with her parents, John and Louise (Milosevic) Starcevich and her three sisters, Mary, Josie and Annie. In their early twenties, she and her sister Mary moved to Denver, Colorado. She worked at Lowry Air Force base where she met Clif Ginn; they were married three months later. The couple raised five children on five Air Force bases before retiring and moving to Wayne with their children in 1968. Toni is remembered by her grandchildren as loving, active, content, joyful, quiet, kind and always smiling. She impressed them all with her highly competitive spirit.
