High winds made the going tough for area boys golfers Thursday in the West Point-Beemer Invitational at Indian Trails Golf Club in Beemer.
Neither Wayne nor Laurel-Concord-Coleridge fielded a full team in their first 18-hole event of the season. Wayne was led by Jonah Brodersen with a 115, while Zach Urbanec shot 126 and Peyton Dewald carded a 130.
LCC was led by Karsen Klooz with a 99, while Justin Kinkaid shot a 152.
