Wayne’s golfers finished 10th and Wakefield was 13th out of 14 teams in Thursday’s Lutheran High Northeast Invitational at the Norfolk Country Club.
Garret Reynolds led the Blue Devils with a round of 97. Zach Urbanec shot a 110, Peyton DeWald added a 111 and Jayse Munsell scored a 114 as the Blue Devils finished with a 432.
Parker Lehmkuhl paced Wakefield with a 98 and Matt Christensen added a 103. Also scoring were Anthony Munderloh with a 120, Tay Guill with a 126 as the Trojans finished with a 447.
Battle Creek won the tournament with a 357, with Creighton finishing eight shots back. Creighton’s Chase Largen was the medalist with an 82.
