Several other northeast Nebraska girls and boys basketball teams took to the court following a five-day moratorium break for back-to-back days of competition.
With a handful more area tournaments playing games on Friday and Saturday along with two playing through the weekend and into Monday, area results can be found below.
The Summerland Holiday Tourney in Ewing showcased both Wakefield and Winside on Friday.
The Wakefield girls (0-7) suffered a 46-40 loss against Ainsworth (2-5) while the Wakefield boys (3-4) won 53-39 over Ainsworth (0-6).
The Wakefield boys top scorers were senior Jesse Lundahl with 16 points followed by juniors Cael Johnson with 12 points and Jacob Borg added 10 points. No leading scorers were provided for Wakefield girls.
The Winside girls (2-4) suffered a 48-23 loss to Summerland (3-5) while the Winside boys (1-5) also fell 71-24 to Summerland (7-0).
The Winside girls were led by sophomore Ellie Topp with 12 points followed by freshman Bridget Marotz with six points. Leaders for the Winside boys were sophomore Brayden Lurz with eight points as freshman Jahiem Hamik and junior Jayden Aschoff both added seven points.

The Stanton Tournament began Friday.
In the girls division, Tri County Northeast (4-4) won 49-41 over Neligh-Oakdale (1-6) while the host Stanton (4-3) won 53-39 over Twin River (3-3).
During the boys outings, Tri Country Northeast (2-6) won 67-9 over Neligh-Oakdale (0-7) while the host Stanton (0-7) suffered a 48-34 loss to Twin River (2-4) .
