Area teams finished in the top 15 among 10 teams at Friday’s Wakefield Invitational golf tournament.
The LCC boys led the area effort, finishing third with a 357. Three Bears finished in the top 15, with Izac Reifenrath placing sixth with an 86 and Ty Erwin and Noah Schutte taking seventh and eight with an 88. Logan Hansen lost a tiebreaker for the 15th spot and placed 16th with a 95, while Karsen Klooz finished with a 106.
Wakefield finished fourth with a 378, led by medalists Noah Lamprecht and Tay Guill Lamprecht placed 12th with a 90 and Guill was 14th with a 91. Parker Lehmkuhl shot 97, Julio Sanchez had a 100 and Blake Brown shot 102.
Wayne’s JV placed fifth with a 408, led by Jonah Brodersen’s 85, which was good for fourth place as the only Wayne medalist. Ryan Jaixen shot 100, Beau Bowers had a 105, Matt Navrkal shot 118 and Colton Vovos had a 124.
Wayne, Wakefield and LCC will close out the regular season Monday at the Randolph Invitational.
