Brackets have been announced for the boys and girls divisions of the Lewis & Clark Conference tournament that will begin on Friday, Jan. 27.
In boys action, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is the fourth seed and will host one of four quadrants of games. They will take on Plainivew on Monday, Jan. 30 at 7:45 p.m.
Wakefield and Winside are seeded eighth and ninth and will face each other in the first round at Winnebago on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. Allen is the 14th seed and will play at Wynot on Jan. 30 at 7:45 p.m.
In the girls bracket, Allen is in the play-in game on Friday, Jan. 27 and will face Creighton at Homer at 6 p.m. The winner moves on to face top-seeded Wynot at Wynot on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:45 p.m.
Both Wakefield and LCC will open tournament play at Randolph on Jan. 28. Wakefield, the 11th seed, faces sixth-seeded Wausa at 6 p.m., while No. 14 LCC plays No. 3 Randolph at 7:45 p.m. Winside is the 15th seed and plays at Ponca that same evening at 7:45 p.m.
Quarterfinal games will be played at Homer and Hartington for the boys, with girls games at Wakefield and Winside. Allen hosts the girls semifinals and Ponca will host the boys semis. The finals will be played Monday, Feb. 6 at LCC High School at 6 p.m.
