Arlene (Draghu) Watteyne, 94, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Wayne, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 in Littleton, Colorado.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Wayne. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday, Jan. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.

Arlene (Draghu) Watteyne was born in Carroll on May 28, 1928 to Michael and Ella (Dorman) Draghu. She graduated from Wayne High School. Arlene owned and operated Arlene’s Beauty Shop in Wayne from 1965 – 2001. While still operating Arlene’s Beauty Shop, Arlene embarked upon her second career as a CNA from 1987 through 2005 and yet a third career as a Sales Associate at Walmart from 2006 - 2013.
To be closer to her two daughters and grandchildren, Arlene relocated from Wayne, to Denver, Colorado in 2001 and eventually retired in April 2013 at the age of 84.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Jake Anthony) of Aliso Viejo, California and Barbra Smith (Jeff Moscicki) of Magnolia, Texas; three grandchildren, Heather Kaiser (Richard), Crystal Smith and Melissa Smith; seven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elaine Draghu and Marcille Draghu, both of Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ella; and two brothers, Marvin Draghu in 2013 and Donald Draghu in 2020.
