Armstrong is National Merit Scholarship finalist

Norah Armstrong, a senior at Wayne Community Schools, has been notified that she is a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

Being named a finalist is a distinction that places her in a group of more than 15,000 students representing less than one percent of U.S. high school graduating seniors.

In high school Norah has been involved in Choir, Band, Musical, One-Act Play Production, Cross Country, Speech, Mock Trial and National Honor Society

National Merit scholarships are awarded to entering high school graduates by Undergraduate Admissions to recognize outstanding academic performance.

The mission of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is to recognize and honor the academically talented students of the United States. NMSC accomplishes its mission by conducting nationwide academic scholarship programs.
