Ahead of weekend competition, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge put their 10-win season to the test on the road.
From Plainview, LCC visited the Pirates on Thursday.
The visiting Bears swept Plainview to improve to 11-2 on the season. The Pirates fell to 5-6.
Scores of the match favored LCC 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.
Sophomore Rena Rasmussen recorded a double-double with 15 kills and 17 digs to go along with a solo block while sophomore Carlie Kvols posted 28 assists, five digs, three kills and a solo block.
Senior Tali Erwin followed with seven kills and four digs; senior Lainey Schutte added five kills, two digs and a solo block; sophomore Kaida Eriksen tallied four kills and six digs as junior Tyler Recob tacked on three kills and three digs. Other digs came from senior Baylie Graf with three digs.
Rasmussen finished with four service aces as Erwin, Schutte and Kvols all had an ace.
