One final set of home bowling games were held Thursday evening for Wayne High.
From Wildcat Lanes in Wayne, a sixth straight home outing from Dec. 20 through Jan. 16 took place.
Wayne entertained Howells-Dodge as the Blue Devil girls won 17-4 while the WHS boys picked up a 20-1 victory. The two teams were faced with a difficult oil pattern as the Blue Devil teams fought through the adversity and did not let the pattern get the best of them.
In the girls division, the Blue Devils were able to win match one 584-427 with Rylin Hall, Graycen Trautman / Regan Fernau and Lindsay Niemann picking up wins.
Game two found the two teams battling through seven frames before the Wayne girls pulled away for a 614-428 win. Picking up the individual wins in game two were Sammi Gubbels, Regan Fernau / McKaeya Becker and Lindsay Niemann.
Wayne would go on to win the Baker game 122-85 and again the overall match at 17-4.
During the boys competition, Wayne was able to find a way to battle through the dry lanes and pick up a 741-442 game one victory. Winning individual matches in game one were Dylan Jensen, Jamison Meyer / Blake Smith, Alex Rodriguez, Konnor Kai and Aiden Petersen.
In game two, the Blue Devils once again struggled to get through the shot. Wayne was able to get enough marks to win the match 714-509. Winning matches for Wayne were Jamison Meyer, Alex Rodriguez, Konnor Kai / Blake Smith and Aiden Petersen / Ben Haschke.
Wayne would win the Baker match 148-78 and the overall match 20-1.
In JV action, the Blue Devils played intrasquad competition.
