A series of three straight games began Thursday for the Wayne High girls basketball team.
From Tilden, WHS visited Elkhorn Valley.
The Wayne High girls suffered a 62-30 loss.
During the girls only outing, Elkhorn Valley started with a 14-6 first quarter followed by a 20-5 second to go up 34-11 at the break. The Falcons added to their lead with a 16-7 third as both teams scored 12 points in the fourth. Final favored Elkhorn Valley winning 62-30 to improve to 6-0 as the Blue Devils fell to 2-2.
Junior Haley Kramer finished with 10 points to lead Wayne High. Sophomore Alexis Legler followed with six points as junior Elle Powicki added five points.
