The Wayne High volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday, dropping a 25-19, 25-21, 25-16 decision at Lutheran High Northeast in Norfolk.
Lauren Pick led the Blue Devil net attack with 11 kills, followed by Mikaela McManigal with six, Emily Armstrong with five and Frankie Klausen with four. Kiara Krusemark had 17 assists.
Defensively, Hailey Backer had 12 digs, Armstrong added 11 and Klausen, Pick and Sydney Redden each had seven.
Wayne will play in the Seward Invitational on Saturday.
