This has been posted in and will continue to be showcased in the sports section at the Wayne Herald when it comes to Wayne High sporting events.

The Blue Devil senior kicks off the next three issues featuring the individuals behind the camera for the Wayne Herald.

Whether it be from the sideline, in the dugout to on the course, Junck has seized the moment for the viewer and he's only just starting his career in sports photography.

"I first picked up a camera about a year ago," said Junck. "I enjoy capturing the moments of emotion of athletes who have worked hard in their sports."

Junck has spent his entire life in Wayne and is currently a senior at Wayne High School set to graduate May 2026.

When asked about the northeast region he responded with, "I enjoy how everyone knows everybody and is connected in some way."

He also does his own freelance photography with his favorite sports to cover being basketball, volleyball and football.

Plans after graduation include attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD continuing his sports photography journey.

Junck, who started providing photos to the Wayne Herald just about a year ago, is excited to share his work for the upcoming Blue Devil basketball, wrestling and bowling seasons and moving into the spring for baseball, boys golf and track & field.
