As one of the eight best teams in Class B, Wayne High competed in the 2024 NSAA Unified State Bowling Championships to open the week.
From Sun Valley Lanes & Games in Lincoln, the Monday state tourney seeded Wayne as #7 in Class B.
Blue Devil Unified bowling team members include Hannah Davis, Gavin Redden, Sammi Gubbels, Payton Junck and Graycen Trautman.
Wayne suffered a first round loss to #2 North Bend Central.
The Blue Devils won the B-4 District with a 785 team score ahead of district runner-up Osmond (682) last week in Wayne to earn an automatic qualifying spot at state.
