For the third time in eight days, the Wayne High girls golf team showed off their talent on the course.

From the Wayne Country Club, the Blue Devils competed among the 14 school Wayne Invite on Friday. A total of 63 golfers took to the course.

The Blue Devils finished atop of the team race with a 359.

Head coach Josh Johnson said, “I was extremely happy with how each girl played today (Friday). There were some bad holes for sure but they battled all day. The team score of 359 is the lowest team score any team I have coached has posted. Crazy thing is each girl had some bad breaks or holes out there and I believe we can go even lower.”
