Bob was born on a farm southeast of Wayne to Albert and Bonnie (Hurley) Fuoss.  He attended several rural school districts and Wayne Prep.  He entered the Army in 1958, served for two years and was honorably discharged in 1960, where he received his GED. After serving in the Army, he started farming in 1960 south of Laurel. He married the love of his life, Janice Schademann, on Jan. 19, 1963.  God blessed this marriage with two children, David and Ranae. He was a progressive farmer, installing the first center pivot in Wayne County in 1968. Bob continued to farm for over 60 years. He moved north of Wayne in 1973 and lived there with his wife Janice until his passing.  He had a passion for International Harvester equipment. Bob owned Midland Equipment in Wayne until 2014. He loved tractors, tractor pulling, Chevrolet vehicles, and you better not be driving a Toyota up his driveway!

Bob also loved Jesus. He was not afraid to tell you that you better know Jesus also. Bob and Jan attended Concord Evangelical Free Church from 1963-2001 and then attended Community   Bible   Church   in   Norfolk. They wintered in Arizona, where he loved the warmer weather. They attended Tri-City Baptist Church. Bob was on the board of the International Baptist College in Chandler, Arizona.
