What has become a highly anticipated event for seniors throughout the area is scheduled to take place in Wayne on Thursday, April 16.
Boomerfest gets underway at noon that day with a Vendor Fair from noon to 2 p.m. at the Wayne City Auditorium.
The Pretenders Band will also provide music for listening and dancing from 2 to 5 p.m. and a Brownie Sundae Bar will be served at 2:30 p.m.
Snacks will be available throughout the afternoon and cash drawings will take place at various times that day.
