The Wayne State women's rugby team claimed its 13th national title Sunday with a 70-10 win over SUNY-Cortland in the finals of the National Collegiate Rugby small-college division tournament in Knoxville, Tenn.
Wayne State built a 25-10 halftime lead and used a stingy attack that led to a 45-point second-half explosion to pull away for the national title.
