Posted

Wayne State College business communication students and the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)-Collegiate chapter are holding a Wildcat Career Clothing Drive now through Thursday, Oct. 26. This is a co-curricular service-learning project with the Wayne State Food Pantry.

Those wanting to donate gently used career clothing items (dress pants, skirts, jackets, shirts, belts, ties, shoes, etc.) may do so at the following locations: Herman Chiropractic, 1302 West 7th Street in Wayne; Micah’s Closet, 602 Main in Wayne; the Dean’s Office in Gardner Hall at Wayne State; and the Student Financial Services Office, room 104 of the Hahn Building at Wayne State.

Students in need of career clothing can visit the Wayne State Food Pantry Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 24-26, to learn about the available food and toiletries, and pick up clothing to help them prepare for interview opportunities through Wayne State’s Career Services Office. Hours for the Wayne State Food Pantry are 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Wayne State Food Pantry is located on the southwest side of Morey Hall on campus.
