Due to predicted rain in the forecast, adjustments have been made to the schedule of events for the Wayne State College Wildcat Classic Outdoor Track and Field Meet this weekend at LeRoy Simpson Track in Wayne.
The meet, originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday (March 24 and 25) will now take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26. Field events and running events will start at 12 p.m. Saturday. The high jump and pole vault will take place indoors in the WSC Recreation Center for safety reasons due to potential of wet runways. Remaining field events Saturday (shot put, discus, long jump and triple jump) will take place outdoors.
The hammer throw and javelin will take place on Sunday starting at 12 p.m.
