After the swearing in of Matt Eischeid as the District 2 Commissioner prior to the start of the regular meeting, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners is once again at full capacity.
Tuesday's meeting began with information shared on projects being planned within Wayne County during a public hearing that was part of the agenda for the meeting.
Highway Superintendent Kyle Huff provided each commissioner with a map, outlining the projects on the county's one and six year road improvement plan. He discussed which of these projects are priority projects, noting that there are four projects in District 2 that are 'ready to go.'
Commissioners also rejected the one bid that was received for gravel for county roads.
The Wayne County Board of Commissioners will next meet in regular session on Tuesday, March 3 at 9 a.m. in the Wayne County Courtroom.
