Dallas Dean Longe, 81 of Eagan, Minnesota, died peacefully on July 31, 2023 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
He is survived by his sister Lynal Krueger; his son, Mark Longe (grandchildren Ava, Quentin and Charlotte); his daughter Michelle Lind (grandchild Alysha); his son Craig Longe (grandchild Samia and great grandchild Alaena); his stepson David Johnson (grandchild Deena and great grandchildren Gavin and Alexia); his stepson Craig Johnson (grandchild Sarah) and grandchildren Kristina and Robert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Longe; his brother, Dwain Longe; his stepson,s Fred Johnson and Bob Johnson; and his grandchild, Troy Johnson.
Dallas was a graduate of Wayne High School, Class of 1960 and frequently traveled back to Wayne for class reunions and to visit family and friends. He left Nebraska many years ago, but he never forgot where he came from and was always a country boy at heart.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
