Following three days of subdistrict action, automatic qualifying and wildcard volleyball teams will be one win away from advancing to the state championships.
According to the NSAA, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has earned the #5 seed in Class C2 while Tri County Northeast will be the #12 seed in Class D1.
District final pairings.
LCC (30-3) returns to a district final for a second straight year (C1 last season falling at Battle Creek).
The fifth-ranked Bears will host #12 Stanton (23-8) during the C2-5 District final on Saturday, Nov. 1 at TBA.
LCC has won 11 straight recently picking up C2-6 Subdistrict wins in Oakland on Oct. 28 against Elkhorn Valley (3-1) and on Oct. 29 over Oakland-Craig (3-2).
The 12th ranked Allen/Emerson-Hubbard co-op (24-5) will travel to #5 Shelton (25-5) during the D1-5 District final on Saturday, Nov. 1 at TBA.
Since starting the co-op in 2020, this marks the first district final for the Wolfpack after going 1-1 in Subdistrict play from 2020-2024. Emerson-Hubbard last competed in a district final in 2015 winning to advance to state. The Pirates finished third in Class D1 that year at state.
TCNE has won back-to-back in the postseason during the D1-5 Subdistrict in Emerson against Lyons-Decatur Northeast (3-1) on Oct. 27 and over Cedar Catholic (3-2) on Oct. 28.
The 2025 NSAA State Volleyball Championships will be played at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Nov 5 - 7 with finals at the Devaney Sports Center on Nov. 8.
