Dorothy Ann Jenkins, 97, died on September 2, 2026.

Dorothy Ann Jenkins was born Aug. 14, 1929 to Walter and Lena Rethwisch in Carroll, Nebraska.
Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, embroidering, coloring doing crossword puzzles and browsing the internet on her computer. She was a very strong, loving and religious woman. Her happiest times were when she had visitors.
Her words will be remembered as “It’s God”s will.” She will be forever loved and missed.
She is survived by daughter, Cherie (Roger) Vigil, sisters Charlene Jones and Connie (Merlin) Brugger, 9 grand children, 18 great grand children and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lena Rethwisch, husband Raymond Jenkins, brother Gene Rethwisch, sister Jeanette Nelsen, son Curt, grandson Keith and granddaughter Stephanie.
