A former assisted living aid in Wayne received a jail sentence of 90 days Wednesday for the misuse of a resident's credit card.
Fettig also received a sentence of 30 months probation and an order to pay $1,067.66 in restitution to the victim.
The court charged Teri Fettig, 39, with a Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult: Class 3A Felony, and Unauthorized Use of a Financial Transaction Device: Class 1 Misdemeanor.
Previously, Fettig's misdemeanor charge was classified as a Class 4 Felony, though the judge lessened that charge.
A separate Class 3 Misdemeanor for Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Device was dropped.
The owner of the credit card Fettig used to make personal purchases suffered from dementia and late-stage Parkinson's disease, according to her power of attorney.
