Wayne State athletic director Mike Powicki announced that Megan Finn has been named Director for Athletics Development, a newly created position in the Wildcat Athletic/Foundation Department. Finn began her duties at the school on Monday, Sept. 17.
Finn comes to Wayne State College after working the last 8 1/2 years at Great Western Bank in Omaha. She recently served as Assistant Vice President for the past 4 1/4 years and worked as a cash management specialist and personal banker.
Finn is a native of Omaha and graduate of Roncalli Catholic High School. She attended Dana College and played women’s basketball and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and Spanish from Midland University in 2010 and obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Midland in 2014.
Finn’s community involvement includes being a board member with the Nebraska Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leadership Sarpy graduate, Offutt Advisory Council Member, Commercial Real Estate for Women Member and Volunteer Coach for Omaha Roncalli Catholic Junior High Pride Basketball.

Megan brings nearly a decade of professional experience from the private sector and as a former college athlete understands the value of the student-athlete experience.”
