Maintenance is needing to be done on two several-thousand gallon propane tanks at the end of South Douglas Street in Wayne. The only way to safely work on these tanks is to burn off any propane left in the tanks after they had been drained as well as possible.
Farmers Pride is on site liquidating the propane and someone will be there 24/7 to monitor the situation. The flames are fairly minimal right now, but as the pressure is turned up, they will likely catch your attention. This process will take several days to complete.
