Information on the city's financial health and requests for use of city buildings and streets were on the agenda when the Wayne City Council met in regular session on Monday.
Marcy Luth with AMGL, who conducted the city's fiscal year 2024-2025 audit, shared information with both the city's finance committee and the council as a whole on areas where the city is doing well and areas that need improvement.
Approval was given for a request from the Wayne High School Post Prom Committee to use the Community Activity Center (CAC) for the post prom event on Saturday, March 21 and into Sunday, March 22.
A public hearing was held on the One and Six-Year Street Improvement Plan.
Council members approved a request from Breland and Jennifer Ridenour to defer their LB840 loan payments for one year.
The Wayne City Council will next meet in regular session on Monday, Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers.
