Wayne Community Schools Foundation recently received $3,000 donation from Quality Foods/Pat and Amy Riesberg to support The IDEA Project. The IDEA Project was started in 2013 by the Wayne Community Schools Foundation. Grants of $1,500 are awarded to teachers at the Elementary School, Junior High School and High School. Each spring teachers or groups of teachers apply for the grants which are used to provide equipment and educational aids outside the school budget. In addition to Quality Foods, this project is supported by donations from Ameritas, Don and Nancy Endicott Family, Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust and Quality Foods.
Foundation Director Rusty Parker issued a "THANK YOU to all who support the project.
