For the second straight year a student-athlete from Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will be recognized as a member of the statewide Believers & Achievers winners.
Faith Galvin was named one of the 48 seniors by NSAA and Currency who will be recognized during the 2027 State Basketball Championships and on a poster sent to all NSAA member schools.
Galvin will also attend a banquet next April with the opportunity for eight individuals to receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Among a release from the NSAA and Currency: "all students nominated for the Believers & Achievers awards program represent the very best of Nebraska’s high schools and are considered local school winners.
With winter sports and activities approaching, this is a time for Galvin to 'reset' ahead of running track during springtime.
