Here are summaries from Saturday’s action at the Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout:

Girls Results
West Point-Beemer 42, Arlington 23 —
The Lady Cadets pulled away in the second half behind a balanced scoring attack. Andrea Hoffman scored 12, Sidney Swanson added 10 and Sierra Kile put in nine for the winners. Arlington’s Maggie Schmidt led all scorers with 13 points.

LCC 55, Wayne 52 — A tight game between the two area schools went the way of the Bears, who broke a 37-37 tie with an 18-15 fourth-quarter effort. Kinsey Hall had 12 points and Makayla Forsberg and Delaney Ehlers each had 11 for the winners. Frankie Klausen and Ashton Boyer shared high honors with 13 points apiece for the Blue Devils, while Tori Kniesche had 11 and Gabi Meyer scored 10. LCC will play Hartington CC for the Blue Division championship on Monday.

Hartington CC 62, Pender 48 — Pender gave the Trojans fits, but a 30-12 run in the middle two periods helped Hartington CC advance to the Blue Division final against LCC. Brynn Wortman had a game-high 15 points, Aiden wortman added 12 and Abby Hochstein scored 10 for the winners. Reese Kneifl had eight points and Ashley Ostrand, Faith Morris and Sarah Kruger each had seven for the Pender girls.

The Knights got a game-high 16 points from Ethan Piper and Alex Lammers added 14 to advance them to Monday’s White Division championship game against West Point-Beemer. Brent Hilzendeger had 12 points and Trent Bergman added 10 for the Eagles

LCC 102, Pender 64 — The Bears came out blazing hot in the first half, hitting nine of their 10 3-pointers in the first 16 minutes to take a 69-37 halftime lead and move on to the Blue Division championship game on Monday. Noah Schutte had a game-high 27 points, Evan Haisch added 23, Izac Reifenrath put in 21 and Ty Erwin had 13 for the winners. Sam Mailloux led the Pendragons with 22 points and Eric Shopke added 12.

Wayne 67, Hartington CC 55 — Wayne had three players in double figures as they were able to hold off a fourth-quarter Trojan comeback to advance to the Blue Division final Monday. Tyrus Eischeid led the way with 17 points, Marcus Fertig added 15 and Kallan Herman put in 14. Matthew Becker had a game-high 26 points for the Trojans.
