Wayne High standout Kylie Hammer will play in the 21st annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Classic on Saturday, June 9 at 3 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
Hammer will be part of the Girls’ Dark Team that includes Grace Henn, Pope John; Hannah Heppner, Stanton; Calli Krebs, Pope John; Bailey Kraus, West Holt; Paige Meis, Pope John; Nickol Payne, Pope John; Katie Pilakowski, West Point-Beemer; Bailey Schindler, Ewing; and Logan Wemhoff, Humphrey St. Francis. They will be coached by Tina Thiele-Bleacher of Elgin Public/Pope John and Tracy Kuester of Stanton.
The Light Team consists of Madalyn Arens, Hartington Cedar Catholic; Maci Batenhorst, Wisner-Pilger; Julia Eskens, Wynot; Ashley Hamilton, Hartington Cedar Catholic; Lauren Jacobsen, Wisner-Pilger; Taya Johnson, Battle Creek; Kyla Moore, Norfolk High; Caitlin Orton, Rock County; Anna Reifenrath, Hartington Cedar Catholic; and Emma Rosberg, Lutheran High Northeast. They are coached by Kathy Gebhardt of Lutheran High Northeast and Denae Buss of Hartington Cedar Catholic.
