Sandy Brown outlined the development of the former First Baptist Church into the Sanctuary Apartments during its open house last Friday. The six-unit building, two 3-bedroom, two 2-bedroom and two 1-bedroom, saw more than 230 visitors in the span of two hours, Brown said. Roy Ley, architect from Hoke Ley, and Otte Construction, worked diligently to maintain the original stained-glass windows, woodwork, balcony, stage area and more.
