Wayne Area Legacy Fund recently presented a check to Haven House in Wayne.
According to information from Haven House Executive Director Debbie Goettsch, "Haven House will be using the funds to build a privacy fence around our Wayne County shelter. We have been having issues with people coming into our shelter yard and it has become a safety issue for our shelter clients and their children."
She added that Haven House's primary goal is "the safety of our clients and children and they should not have to worry about people walking in our yard or being in the yard and their abusers driving by and seeing them. This is going to be a security step for the safety of our clients and children."
