Homecoming activities have been announced at Wayne High School.
Festivities will be held Monday Sept. 12 through Friday, Sept. 16.
Queen candidates for this year's royalty include: Brenna Vovos, daughter of Mike and Diane Vovos; Kelsey Boyer, daughter of Monte and Sarah Boyer; Shanda Lambert, daughter of Anne Liska and Tom Lambert; Ashten Gibson, daughter of Shannon and Brian Gibson and Emily Matthes, daughter of Lonnie and Pam Matthes.
King candidates include Will Anderson, son of Steve and Peg Anderson; Tanner DeBoer, son of Mitch and Buffany DeBoer; Lathan Ellis, son of Kary Ellis and Michael Ellis; Payten Gamble, son of Robin Lutt and Robbie and Tanya Gamble and Tyler Lutt, son of Steve and Jodi Lutt.
Coronation of this year's King and Queen will take place on Wednesday, Sept 14 at 9 p.m. in Haun Lecture Hall at the high school.
Dress-up days this year include:
Monday - USA Day;
Tuesday - PJ Day;
Wednesday - Costume Day;
Thursday - Jersey Day and
Friday - Spirit Day (freshmen wear gray; sophomores wear black; juniors wear white and seniors wear blue).
