Wayne High School is celebrating Homecoming Week through Saturday, Sept. 20.
Homecoming candidates were announced late last week with coronation set to take place following the Wayne High football game on Friday evening at Wayne State College's Memorial Stadium.
Queen candidates include Jordyn Gamble, Nyla Bolles, Elle Powicki, Haley Kramer and Adrienne Anderson.
King candidates include Brodey Munter, Jace Jorgensen, Boden Dobbins, Drew Miller, and Gavin Anderson.
Activities throughout the week inlcude an America's Got Talen/Lip Sync Battle, Powderpuff football and boys' volleyball, a Student Council sponsored breakfast and Pep Rally.
The Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 p.m. to midnight at the lower level of the Wayne State Student Center.
