With several fires in the area in recent weeks and unusually dry conditions, many community members are asking, "how much snow have we gotten and what is normal for this time of year?"
City Street and Planning Director Joel Hansen has been keeping records for many years, as was his predecessor and the following information has been shared.

Hansen said that so far this season, Wayne has received four inches of snow accumulated on the streets for this winter. If we have less than 1/2" we typically do not count that as an accumulating snow and include it in our records.
