Ione R. Rubeck, 89, Of Winside, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.
Ione Rosetta Fullner was born March 28, 1935 near Wisner to Harry Theodore and Bertha Elsa Augusta (Heller) Fullner. She attended Cuming County Rural School District #17 and Wisner High School. Ione married LeRoy Rubeck Oct. 7, 1953. The couple farmed near Winside for many years.
Survivors include her children, Linda Kirsch, with children, Heidi (Robert) Baker and Christopher Nicholas Kirsch; Brian (Susan) Rubeck, with children, Laura Rubeck, Daniel (Skylar) Rubeck; Curtis (Alex) Rubeck, Kevin (Marissa) Rubeck; Beverly Hasebroock (Frank) Godinez with children, Erik Hasebroock, Jason (Emily) Hasebroock, Alysia Hasebroock, Kyle (Jazmine) Hasebroock; Larry (Sandra) Rubeck, with children, Nicole (Kyle) Kirk, Greg (Bobbi) Rubeck, Thomas (Hannah) Rubeck; Angela (Adam) Luft; many great-grandchildren; one brother, Artwin (JoAnn) Fullner of Wisner; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bertha Fullner; husband, LeRoy, in March 2019; one son, Bradley Rubeck; in-laws, Richard and Edna (Gildersleeve) Rubeck; granddaughter, Jacqueline Rubeck; sons-in-law, Douglas Kirsch and Terry Hasebroock; sisters, Lorraina Fullner, Evelyn (Marvin) Buhrman; and sister-in-law, Peggy (Louis) Williams.
