Wayne High bowling, Wayne wrestling, Wakefield boys wrestling along with Winside, Wakefield and Tri County Northeast basketball took over Jan. 15.
A fourth home event was on the schedule for the Wayne High bowling program at Wildcat Lanes in Wayne.
The Wayne girls won 14-7 while the Blue Devil boys secured a 21-0 victory against Howells-Dodge.

From Battle Creek, the Wayne High girls wrestling team picked up a 54-30 win while the Blue Devil boys suffered a 53-20 loss at Battle Creek.

Both teams will next travel to Schuyler with the girls in action on Jan. 16 and boys on Jan. 17 both at 9:30 a.m.
From Walthill, the Winside girls basketball team lost 55-48 while the Winside boys suffered a 73-60 defeat at Walthill.
The Winside girls (5-9, dropped back-to-back) and boys (5-9, fourth straight loss) will next host Winnebago on Jan. 19 at 6/8 p.m.
From Hartington, the Tri County Northeast girls basketball team lost 42-41 while the Wolfpack boys fell 68-52 at Hartington-Newcastle.
The TCNE girls (3-9, fifth straight loss) will next visit Stanton on Jan. 16 at starting at 6 p.m. before joining the Allen/Emerson-Hubbard co-op boys (2-12, sixth straight loss) on Jan. 20 hosting Homer starting at 4 p.m. in Emerson.
From Wakefield, the Wakefield girls basketball team dropped a 74-32 decision while the Wakefield boys lost 69-51 against Bancroft-Rosalie.
The Wakefield girls (1-12, second straight loss) will next visit Osmond on Jan. 17 at 3:15 p.m. before joining their boys (7-6, fourth straight loss) on Jan. 20 at Lyons-Decatur Northeast at 6/7:30 p.m.
Also in Wakefield, the Wakefield boys wrestling team went 1-1 during a home triangular with 31-21 loss against Madison followed by a 42-18 win over Ponca.
