With high school basketball occurring on Jan. 20, Wayne, Winside girls, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Tri County Northeast and Wakefield were all in action.
 
From Crofton, the Wayne girls dropped their third straight following a 48-38 loss while the Blue Devil boys saw their two-game winning streak snapped (41-39) at Crofton.
 
The Wayne girls (9-8) and boys (9-7) will next visit Cedar Catholic on Jan. 23 at 6:15/7:30 p.m.
 
 
From Winside, the Winside girls snapped their three-game losing skid thanks to a 57-40 win against Osmond.
 
The Winside girls (6-10) and boys (5-10) will next visit Wausa on Jan. 23 at 6/8 p.m.
 
 
 
From Hartington, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls won their fifth straight following a 67-42 victory while the LCC boys suffered a 73-65 loss at Hartington-Newcastle.
 
The LCC girls (11-6) and boys (5-10) will next visit Battle Creek on Jan. 22 starting at 4:30 p.m.
 
 
 
From Lyons, the Wakefield girls lost 58-50 while the Wakefield boys snapped a four-game losing streak thanks to a 73-35 win at Lyons-Decatur Northeast.
 
The Wakefield girls (2-13) and boys (8-6) were next scheduled to host Tri County Northeast on Jan. 23. The games have been moved to Feb. 9 starting at 4 p.m.
 
 
From Emerson, the Tri County Northeast girls dropped a 49-36 decision while the Allen/Emerson-Hubbard co-op boys lost 63-53 against Homer.
 
The Wolfpack girls (3-11) and boys (2-13) will next host Wausa on Jan. 22 in Allen starting at 4 p.m. Both teams have now dropped seven straight. Their game on Friday at Wakefield has now been postponed to Feb. 9 starting at 4 p.m.
