Jane M. Dewey, 64, of Wayne, formerly of Battle Creek, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025 at her home in Wayne.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.
Memorials in memory of Jane may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Jane Marie Dewey was born July 24, 1961 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Lester “Les” Grant and Charlotte “Chuck” Ann (Dinovo) Dewey. She graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1979. She grew up in Battle Creek and has lived in Wayne for over 30 years.
She enjoyed scrap booking, was an avid reader and loved nothing more than being a grandmother.
Jane’s family includes her daughters and families, Hailey (Nick) Jessen, and Hadley and Ava of Valley and Leslie (Tanner) Bartscher, and Cameron of Hartford, South Dakota; parents, Lester “Les” and Charlotte Dewey of Wayne; sisters, Amy Dewey of Wayne and Kris (Logan) Kinzie of Wayne; niece, Ruby Kinzie of Lincoln; and numerous cousins.
Preceding Jane in death were her grandparents; beloved puppy, Maiziee; former husband and father of her daughters, Dave Hintz; several aunts and uncles.
