A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Jeremy L. Reeg, Jr. 48, of Wayne.
He died Friday, Dec. 19, 2025 at Wayne Countryview Care.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Jeremy Lee Reeg was born May 13, 1977 in Sioux City, Iowa to Susan Barker and Jerry Reeg. He spent his first month of life in the Intensive Care Unit and then began to thrive. He attended school at Wayne Elementary and later Wayne Tower School earning his certificate of completion. At age 14, Jeremy lived with North Star Services until his health required more care and he moved into Wayne Countryview Care in 2021.
Jeremy loved talking to his mom on the telephone and any time with family. Watching his step dad, Wayne, drag car racing and a good football game like the Nebraska Spring Game were great fun for Jeremy. He would enjoy a Mountain Dew, pizza, popcorn and a Snickers or Kit Kat candy bar or just eating at The Max in Wayne with his family and friends. He enjoyed going for walks outside and car rides around Wayne, especially to watch the auto transport truck unloading new cars at Arnie’s Ford.
Survivors include his parents, Susan “Sue” (Wayne) Denklau of Wayne; sisters, Kristin Armstrong of Kansas City, Missouri, Kim (Matt) Becker of Wayne and Kelsey (Jason) Olnes of Wayne; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Celeene, Peyton, McKaeya, Layton, McKynley, Lyleigh, Addysen, Jazmin, JaeLynn, Sutten, and a baby brother due in March; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and stepmothers, Robbie and Kathy.
Preceding Jeremy in death were his father, Jerry Reeg; grandparents, Alvin and Ardyce Reeg, Glenadine Barker and Gene Barker, Wayne and Lorraine Denklau and Marcie Reeg; uncles and aunts.
