John A. Geary, 43, of Wayne, died Tuesday, June 23, 2023, at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20 at the Inman Cemetery in Inman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
John Alexander Geary was born May 25, 1980 in Omaha to LaVern and Dorothy (Hayes) Geary. John moved to Wayne in 1991, having previously lived in O’Neill. John attended school at ESU #8 in O’Neill and Wayne Tower School. John was known for his wonderful smile and infectious laugh and giggle. John loved his Mountain Dew and enjoyed playing video games, especially Mario Cart. John had so many people in his corner who helped him live a happy and fulfilling life.
Those left to cherish his memory are his North Star family, who had the honor and pleasure of knowing and caring for him over the past 32 years. He is also survived by his sister, Sally A. Geary of Phoenix, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, LaVern and Dorothy Geary and brother, Eric LaVern Geary.
