A Wayne High senior girls golf standout earned All-State honors.
According to a release, Joslyn Johnson was named to the 2024 Nebraska Coaches Association Girls Golf All-State Team.
Johnson, who was the lone Class C All-State representative, finished fifth with rounds of 84 and 82 (166) during the Class C Girls State Golf Championships.
As a team, Wayne High held off Minden (696-697) in the team standings at Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte.
A total of 18 girls were named to Super-State while those who placed top five in their classification and was not placed on Super-State received All-State honors.
